Tasting notes

The nose is elegant and appealing, with aromas of candied cherry, redcurrant, almond and walnut, along with a hint of toast. On the palate, the wine is flavourful and full-bodied, with lovely complexity of nutty flavours, as well as hints of liquorice. The sweetness is well integrated and the freshness balances the whole. The finish reveals remarkable length, despite a noticeable alcohol intensity. A superb wine.
